Synthesized and Designed New Modified Poly(vinyl chloride) Structures to Enhance Their Photo-Resistance Characteristics

We synthesized and designed four new modified poly(vinyl chloride) structures to develop various polymer derivatives enhance their photo-stability. Commercially available was synthetically into a containing aromatic Schiff base moieties. First, the PVC reacted with ethylene diamine from one side by using an equivalent of extra increase probability preventing cross-linking versus two-sided reaction. In second step, corresponding aldehydes were amino group create molecules. Different approaches applied confirm polymers such as FTIR, 1H NMR, EDX. Using these methods, percentage modification for studied materials demonstrated. The exhibited between 30–35% integration in NMR spectra EDX analytical composition elements. order lessen photo-degradation polymeric chains, synthetic compounds have been employed photo-stabilizers films. assess effectiveness photo-stabilizer, variety techniques used, including weight loss method monitoring development different functional groups while being exposed radiation FTIR spectra. Utilizing atomic force microscopy (AFM), scanning electron (SEM), microscope pictures, surface morphology produced also investigated. These experiments demonstrated that novel perform excellent comparison pure PVC.
